'Sense8' season 2 air date, spoilers: Wolfgang-Kala-Rajan love triangle focus; next season to air in December

The rumors of “Sense8” getting cancelled may not be true after all. There are reports saying that Netflix is still going to go forward with “Sense8” season 2 and that the new season will focus on the love triangle of Rajan Rasal (Purab Kohli), Kala Dandekar (Tina Desai), and Wolfgang Bogdanow (Max Riemelt).

It is said that the upcoming season will feature Wolfgang breaking up with Kala after he notices that Kala and Rajan look genuinely happy in a recent photo. Of course, even if they break up, both of them will always be connected telepathically and emphatically since both of them are sensates. Even though Kala states that she is not in love with Rajan, the man she is pre-arranged to marry, “Sense8” season 2 may see them learn to love one another.

So far, there has been no official word regarding the premiere of “Sense8” season 2. However, there are reports saying that it will air this December or early next year.

According to Gulf News, Sikander Kher will also be playing a small role in the upcoming season, rumored to be Rajan’s brother or a villain who will end up killing Wolfgang or Rajan.

A new wave of rumors is also starting to spread because Kher is reportedly asking for a lot of money for his role. According to Australian Network News, this has caused the network to rethink their plans for another season, and they may just wrap up the production prematurely. However, it should be noted that since Kher has not been featured in the series yet, it will be easy to replace him with someone else.

Cancelling the series will also cost the network a lot of money because they have already started filming in 16 cities around the world, including Mexico City, Mumbai, Seoul, and Reykjavik.

As of now, Netflix has yet to officially announce “Sense8” season 2.
