Samsung Galaxy Tab S3 release date, rumors: Tablet snubbed this year's IFA; Device still believed to launch this year

Anxious tablet fans at this year’s IFA event were expecting that the Suwon-based conglomerate Samsung will be launching one of their handheld devices dubbed the Galaxy Tab S3. Nonetheless, the company never mentioned the device at the event which left some enthusiasts quite dismayed.

Speculations of the tablet’s arrival came to fruition as the company’s South American website purportedly mentioned that the Galaxy Tab S3 will be unveiled at the aforementioned event in Germany. However, it was also noted that the said announcement was later on removed from the website to avoid further confusion.

Moreover, the tech vendor showcased its latest audio and video contraptions at the event, including some high-end white goods not to mention the presentation of the latest iteration of its timepiece which is the Galaxy Gear S3.

The new Galaxy Gear was rolled out in two variants, Classic and Frontier. As per the video, the two watches may well seem to look like the conventional wristwatches being sold at watch stores. However, the said timepieces will be donning smart features in which the Frontier render is said to be boasting more as compared to the Classic make.

Meanwhile, if previous rumors and speculations were anything to go by about the hyped Galaxy Tab, the tablet might still don an AMOLED screen with a high-definition resolution and could still come in 8 and 9.7-inch variations.

Furthermore, the tablet could be carrying a decent 3 GB random access memory backed up by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 652 central processing unit. The Galaxy Tab S3 is also likely to be preinstalled with the Android Nougat operating system and could have at least 32 GB of memory storage which is expandable via microSD.

With a few more months to go before the year ends, fans remain positive that the Galaxy Tab S3 could still be launched this year.
