Samsung Galaxy S7 leaks: Front panel allegedly leaked, shows slight changes


One of the most rumored upcoming flagship devices in the past several weeks had been the upcoming Samsung Galaxy S7 flagship series. The successor to the Galaxy S6 line had been a hot topic in the rumor mill and had more than a few leaks and alleged render reveals in the past. Now, a new report showed the alleged front panel of the device, featuring minor changes in the physical interface design for the new Galaxy S7.

As per a reveal by French tipster Nowhereelese, the front panel covering of the upcoming Samsung Galaxy S7 has been leaked online. The alleged part of the rumored device showed that the new flagship series may feature a slightly different device physical interface compared to the current Galaxy S6 line of flagshipsomething that had been hinted at in previous reports.

The leaked image shown by the tipster revealed a Galaxy S7 panel that features a different home screen buttonwhich also goes in line with pervious rumors. The bigger sized galaxy S7 Plus variant is said to have a rectangular home button instead. The home button of the device is where the fingerprint sensor is said to be embedded on.

The device sensors, noticeably, are also situated on the opposite sidenow found on the right side of the device panel. Also, the power button and the volume control buttons had been moved to the other side of the device.

The Samsung Galaxy S7 line is said to have two different processorsthe Exynos 8890 chipset for international markets and the new Snapdragon 820 chipset for the U.S. and Chinese markets. The device is expected to be launched on Feb. 21 at the Samsung Unpacked event prior to the Mobile World Congress in Barcelona, Spain.
