The new generation of Samsung Galaxy A series of smartphones has officially arrive in China! The first two to be available in the Chinese market are the Galaxy A5 and the Galaxy A7 smartphones, as both models got listed on Samsung’s official Chinese website.
Both the Galaxy A5 2016 and the Galaxy A7 2016 are now up for grabs in the Chinese market, as both models can be spotted on Samsung’s website as well as the online store. The Galaxy A5 2016 costs 2,699 Yuan or at a price equivalent of around $420. On the other hand, the Galaxy A& 2016 can be availed for 2,398 Yuan or at a price equivalent of around $370. Both devices are available in four different color variantsthe standard white and black colors and fancier gold and pink variants.
As for the specs, the Galaxy A5 2016 sports a 5.2-inch Super AMOLED display with 1080p Full HD resolution. It runs under an octa-core processor with CPU speed clocking in at 1.6 GHz frequency. The device packs 2GB RAM, and it comes with 16GB internal storage capacity with support for an external microSD expansion of up to 128GB.
When it comes to camera, the device comes with a 13-megapixel main rear camera with an Optical Image Stabilization sensor and a 5-megapixel front facing one. It is powered by a 2,900mAh battery with Fast Charging features.
As for the Galaxy A7 2016, it has the same 5.5-inch Super AMOLED display with 1080p Full HD resolution. It runs under an octa-core processor with a 1.6 GHz CPU. Moreover, the A7 2016 has 3GB RAM and 16GB internal storage capacity that can be expanded via a microSD card of up to 128GB. The device is powered by a 3,300mAh battery with Fast Charging technology.
Both devices are equipped with Samsung Pay wireless payment features, secured via biometrics through the built-in fingerprint scanner on the devices.
