Bravo’s “Real Housewives of Beverly Hills” star Yolanda Foster has been battling Lyme disease since 2012. Amidst her struggles against the devastating illness, she recently showed her gratitude towards fans who continue to support her.
Taking it to Instagram, Foster said, “Thanks a Million for riding the wave with me. Uncovering the mystery of chronic disease has been the greatest challenge of my life. Your kindness and compassion during this journey has been a great source of support. I appreciate all your kind comments and check most your medical suggestions that resonate with me. As you know I am determined to find a cure affordable for all and hopefully life will grant me the opportunity to turn this test into testimony. Lyme disease is a global epidemic growing in the shadows so please be aware and educate yourself.”
In separate posts, she also gave thanks to her daughters, models Bella and Gigi Hadid.
Foster has shared her journey and some details of her disease earlier this year. Through a personal entry on Bravo‘s blog, she said that since her diagnosis, she has lost the ability to write, read and watch TV because she cannot process information or any stimulation.
She also mentioned that she has tried finding a cure from “conventional long-term antibiotics” to “every holistic protocol” available. Even though she has recovered about 60 percent, she revealed that she had relapsed on December.
Meanwhile, husband and music producer David Foster said in an interview with E! News that his wife is a fighter, “She’s doing fair. She’s just trying to work through it. You know, it’s been a tough battle, but she’s a fighter. She’s got big balls. They’re temporarily cut off, but they’ll be back.”
Moreover, People confirmed that the star will not be coming back for the upcoming sixth season of the Real Housewives.
