The upcoming survival horror video game, “Resident Evil 7: Biohazard” has not fallen short in terms of generating hype, thanks to a bunch of videos showcasing and teasing its gameplay and new features, as if a “Resident Evil” video game title needs more hype.
The most recent of this seemingly consistent flow of marketing videos are two more volumes, as first shown by DualShockers. The first video called “A Closer Look” offers a glimpse of how players can pick up and take a closer look at specific objects in the game’s environment. This goes on to show that “Resident Evil 7: Biohazard” has been specifically designed to reflect even the tiniest details. According to GameSpot, some of the things the player can pick up allow interaction, like when opening a box. Also, the analog sticks are intended to be used to rotate the objects.
Meanwhile, in the second video titled “Imagination,” it is shown that objects, in fact, can be rotated. The video specifically demonstrates how a player will use a puzzle; where there seems to be a response in the form of light and silhouettes once these objects are spun.
So far, there have already been lots of goodies that game developer Capcom has provided would-be and potential buyers of the upcoming video game, giving them enough excitement to easily make that decision. Among the revelations are the existence of what appears to be an enemy that won’t die, several save points, fighting abilities using knives, the purpose of herbs, and a lot more.
Videos have also been posted in the past showing the creepiness of the upcoming game, particularly focusing on the haunted environment, which by the way is a trademark of all previous “Resident Evil” game titles.
“Resident Evil 7: Biohazard is set to be released on Jan. 24, 2017 for the Sony PlayStation and Microsoft Xbox One consoles as well as for Windows PC.
