The upcoming survival horror video game, “Resident Evil 7: Biohazard” won’t be released until next year, but game developer Capcom has been very generous to prospective buyers by revealing another playable demo, literally the third one since the upcoming game was formally announced.
So far, there have been a couple of demos Capcom managed to come up with, the obvious purpose of which is to ensure interest in the game will continue to increase as the game’s release nears. In those two earlier demos, there was a shortage of creeps and scares. The clue to a third demo was made via a new teaser, which can be seen below:
According to Gamerant, the new teaser serves as the 10th video promoting “Resident Evil 7: Biohazard.” The video game-dedicated publication described the new promo material as similar to the others in a way that it seemingly delivers a cryptic message about the game.
The same audio or sound is heard in the trailer released during this year’s Electronic Entertainment Expo (E3), but the difference is that it has become creepier in this version due to a humming variety. The game’s main character then tries to approach a woman sitting in a wheelchair. The scene is eventually cut right after the woman takes a glance at the character, and then the new demo, which is set to be made available a month before the official release date, was announced.
For now, fans will have to wait for more information about the exact release date of the third demo and it should be an exciting one to look forward to considering that it will be the closest anyone will get to the full game, although everyone will be able to get their hands on the game just a month after.
“Resident Evil 7: Biohazard” is set to be released on Jan. 24, 2017 for Microsoft Windows, PlayStation 4, and Xbox One.
