One of the hit games that was released before by Rockstar Games was “Red Dead Redemption.” Fans have enjoyed the game so much so that they are already itching to play the sequel, “Red Dead Redemption 2.” Fans are hoping that new details for the sequel will be given during this year’s Gamescom.
During the Electronic Entertainment Expo (E3) last month, the gaming community was anticipating that new details about “Red Dead Redemption 2” would be given by Take-Two Interactive, the parent company of Rockstar Games and the distributor of the game. There were even speculations that a game trailer would be released at E3 2016. However, a lot of fans were disheartened and disappointed as the trade show did not offer up any details about the sequel game.
So far, the only information that fans know about is the game’s supposed map that was leaked months ago, coming from rumors that are spreading online. There were suggestions that the new title will be “Red Dead Redemption 2: Legends of the West.” It was also said that the map will be more expansive, and there will be two new characters on a mission to find hidden treasure. Despite the rumors that have been circulating, the developers have been really quiet about the game.
Gamescom 2016, another gaming event, will take place in Cologne, Germany from August 17 to 21. Fans of the video game are already expecting that new announcements will be made during the event since Take-Two will make an appearance. Other fans, however, do not seem to be optimistic with the news, since chances of announcing the sequel are slim as Take-Two also has other popular titles under its belt.
Other titles that the company is also handling include “Civilization VI,” “Bioshock,” and “Mafia 3.” It is possible that they are still focused on promoting “Mafia 3,” since it will be coming out soon. Ultimately, fans will only know official details once Gamescom 2016 has started.
