After struggling with substance abuse, The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills star Kim Richards is happy to announce to her fans that she has overcome the challenge and is currently recovering. She told her co-star Brandi Glanville through the latter’s podcast called Brandi Glanville Unfiltered that “Everything is good…It’s a good time for me right now. I’m really happy things are going good,” notes People. She added that “living in the present” instead of looking back or worrying forward is helping her cope.
But this is not just the news she has. It was revealed that both Richards and Glanville will no longer be returning to the next season of The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills. Glanville said on the same podcast that “We were both saying it’s relaxing for us and we’re not so stressed out with everything that we would normally be stressed out with,” referring to herself and her co-star Richards.
She elaborated that both of them “wake up with smiles on our face and we don’t have to deal with the drama,” while Richards added that although not every day is good, it is getting better as she is trying to focus on herself and family, notes E Online!
It seems that Richards is indeed on her way to getting better. In fact, she is in New Jersey from October 23 to 25 for a Chiller signing show, notes Reality Tea. She mentioned how she loved doing these stints and was looking forward to having fun hearing the stories of everybody, and being with her fans as her favorite part of all.
The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills initially premiered in 2010 followed by a new season every year. The fifth season concluded last April, with no clear date yet as to when the next season will air. Meanwhile, with the exit of Richards and Glanville, Kathryn Edwards and Erika Jayne will be joining the show in their place.
