One of the “The Real Housewives of New York City” cast members asked something almost too personal about her co-star’s life.
In the latest episode, the housewives gathered for a group dinner date. The conversation started to become political until it reached the topic of public shaming.
Ramona Singer asked costar Bethenny Frankel on how she dealt with the tabloids spreading an obnoxious clip of hers. The clip was taken from a 1994 low-budget movie titled “Hollywood Hills, 90028,” and in it, Frankel played a murderer.
“I know stuff has resurfaced from your past,” Singer opened. She also went on to ask how she talked about the nudity to her child.
“Has anybody approached your daughter? Have you explained to her the situation?” she continued.
The shocked Frankel tried to keep her composure and explained that her daughter Bryn was only six years old at that time. She recalled that TV journalist Diane Sawyer approached Bryn at school.
“I was in a movie when I was trying to be an actress in L.A. I was laying topless in a scene on a rooftop,” she said. She also mentioned that she did not regret doing the movie at all.
“It wasn’t porn. It was a cheesy movie. I think I was a murderer. But the scene in question, which I sent to Carole, is me having sex with this guy,” she went on to say.
At the confession, the 46-year-old Skinnygirl mogul felt that it was “low” for Singer to attempt to embarrass her through her daughter.
“Ramona loves to have something on someone and then to bring it up,” she asserted.
On the other hand, the 60-year-old reality star felt the opposite. She stated that she took interest in Frankel’s life as they’re “good friends.”
The next episode of “The Real Housewives of New York City” season 9 will air on April 26 on Bravo TV.
