Titled “Guilty,” the next episode of “Quantico” may be full of suspicions raised against the characters.
In the previous episode, Alex Parish (Priyanka Chopra) went to the FBI and told them about an impending bombing that might happen in New York City.
In an interview with TV Line, one of the questions asked was about this particular scene, clarifying whether someone in the upper ranks believed her but is trying to keep cool at the moment. Executive producer Joshua Safran, replied, “It’s almost as if you have read future episodes. [Laughs] In the very next episode, the question of who in the upper ranks of the FBI is on Alex’s side and who is defiantly not is very clearly answered.” Safran did not reveal, however, if there will be interrogations or if the FBI team will accept her statement with minimal reservations.
Aside from this, the new agents-in-training will be under the hands of Dr. Langdon (Anne Heche) this week after Miranda (Aunjanue Ellis) was seen bleeding in a scene last episode. “Dr. Langdon is a former agent and profiler who tasks the trainees with looking at serial killer cases to find the one victim that doesn’t fit the case,” the synopsis read according to the International Business Times.
Dr. Langdon is expected to keep a close eye on the trainees but is not setting her expectations high as the synopsis continued, “But when Simon becomes too good at finding things that don’t belong, it’s his life that becomes endangered.” Simon, played by Tate Ellington in the series, will be under the suspicions of his bosses when he surpasses the expectation of Dr. Langdon in the exercise.
Given the title of the episode, “Guilty” may be referring to the FBI’s perspective for Alex and Simon, whether real or suspected.
“Quantico” episode 9 will take a one week break on Nov. 23 and will return on Nov. 30 at 10 PM on ABC.
