'Project X Zone 2: Brave New World' Europe won't happen before 2016, Japanese release unchanged

Project X Zone 2: Brave New World, will still come to Japan on November 12, but the European release date was pushed pack to early 2016, according to Anime News Network. It was earlier reported that the game will also be coming to non-Japanese regions fall of this year.

For the Japanese release, the standard edition will be available for 6,640, while the limited edition will be available for 9,980.

The limited edition variant of Project X Zone 2: Brave New World which includes the following features: the ability to play the game while listening to over 60 music tracks from the original Project X Zone; the Valkyrie no Boken: Toki no Kagi Densetsu to Xiaomu (Adventure of Valkyrie: Legend of the Key of Time with Xiamou), which opens the character Xiaomu as another playable fighter on the roster; a Namco X Capcom 10th Anniversary Resource 3D pack illustrated by Takuji Kawano; and Namco X Capcom 10th Anniversary Resource special Nintendo 3DS theme.

Early bird buyers of the game (in Japan) will also be getting The Girl From 10 Years Ago challenge map, with the item called “Black Hot Pants” as a completion reward.

A new trailer for the Europe version of the game was released recently by BANDAI NAMCO Entertainment Europe. The trailer introduced a number of characters that will be coming to the sequel, among them are Ken Masters and Ryu (Street Fighter), Ulala (Space Channel 5), Ichiro Ogami, Erica Fontaine, Sakura Shinguji, and Gemini Sunrise (Sakura Wars), Kite and Haseo (.hack//, .hack//G.U.), Dante and Vergil (Devil May Cry), Kazuya Mishima and Jin Kazama (Tekken), and Maya Fey and Phoenix Wright (Ace Attorney). There are more than 30 playable characters confirmed for the sequel.

The Project X Zone is a crossover between three of Japan’s biggest game companiesBandai Namco Games, Capcom, and Sega. It combines characters form various popular titles from said game companies like Tekken, Street Fighter, .hack//, Virtua Fighter, Mega Man, Resident Evil, Devil May Cry, and many more.
