'Project CARS' ON DEMAND gives players free cars, liveries, and race tracks throughout the year

Players and fans of Project CARS are in for a very special treat, as game developer Slightly Mad Studios is set to deliver all the best new content, new cars, new locations, and more additional in-game contentall for free without being locked in to a pre-paid scheme.

The studio recently released ON DEMAND. Project CARS On Demand, they said through their official site, “is our commitment to keeping Project CARS up-to-date with the greatest, freshest, and most critical content while also allowing players to pick and choose the cars and tracks they want – without being locked in to a pre-paid scheme.”

Additionally, game updates will also be rolled out to players, all for free, with future updates to fix issues like ghosting on PS4, improved frame rate for the Xbox One, and improved AI behaviour in wet weather. Other fixes include:

  • Fixes for the highest priority issues identified by the community
  • Improved balancing and defaults
  • Additional functionality and expanded support for existing features
  • Brand-new items that open up new possibilities within the game
  • Support for new hardware released

The very first free car from On Demand is the famous $3.4M car from the hit movie Furious 7the W Motors Lykan Hypersport. This powerful machine is able to hit 62mph in just a short span of 2.8 seconds, with a top speed of 245mph.

Aside from that, On Demand will also give players free Community Liveries, with the first one already completed; a Tracks Expansion Pack, giving players access to the most iconic and challenging race locations. The first one is set to be released this July. Throughout the span of its continuous release, Project CARS is set to have 12 new free tracks to race on.

Car packs will also be available featuring the Racing Icons Car Pack that brings Bentley into the game, along with three powerful GT cars.
