The Liars just can’t catch a break as after dealing with the abduction of Hanna (Ashley Benson), they must now set their eyes on saving Alison (Sasha Pieterse) in the brand new episode of “Pretty Little Liars.”
In next week’s episode, titled “The Talented Mr. Rollins,” the girls try to rescue Ali from the psychiatric ward that she is locked up in. Sensing that something is amiss on top of “Uber A’s” threats, they clamber and race against time to make sure that Ali is safe from any danger. Unfortunately, due to nerves and panic, they will make a huge mistake along the way and will have to deal with the repercussions of it.
Since the “Pretty Little Liars” will balance out what is deemed to be the darkest and deadliest final season with romantic angles all throughout, co-showrunner Charlie Craig has recently given out a juicy tidbit with regard to one of the fan favorite couples, Aria (Lucy Hale) and Ezra (Ian Harding).
“I would say anybody expecting it to be a smoother ride than it’s been in previous seasons is going to be disappointed. It’s going to be bumpy. Stick with it, get invested…I think die-hard shippers will be surprised yet rewarded by where everybody ends up at the end of the season,” Craig told E! Online.
Since Aria and Ezra had their mini reunion late last season, viewers have felt that there still might be hope that they can end up together despite Aria being in another relationship with Liam (Roberto Aguire). But Craig’s newest comments solidify the claim from “Ezria” fans that they will eventually end up together in the end.
As for the other romantic lines in the thriller, Craig sings a somewhat similar tune explaining that every hardship will eventually be rewarded. That is if the other couples live to see the end of the show.
“I can say by the time that we’re done the people who have been the most ardent fans and have had investments most ardently in relationships will be happy where we end up. But it’s a really bumpy road between here and there,” he teased.
“Pretty Little Liars” season 7 airs every Tuesday night, at 8 p.m. ET on Freeform.
