Last week’s episode of “Pretty Little Liars” did not disappoint as there were numerous plot points introduced, which might build up the anticipation for the coming of the new big bad.
Titled “The Gloves Are On,” it has finally been confirmed that Spencer (Troian Bellisario) has feelings for Caleb (Tyler Blackburn). aAlthough at first, she tried to deny it, fans were quick to link together the hints given in the trailer for episode 13. Given this development, the romance might put a little tension between the girls especially with Caleb being formerly linked to Hanna (Ashley Benson).
However, it seems like this will not be the case as show star Shay Mitchell, who plays Emily, revealed that Hanna may still be a little bit upset, but she wishes the best for them.
In terms of her character who has also gone through a major story arc in the recent episodes like her decision to sell her eggs, Mitchell was asked if there is any other thing she was hiding from the girls.
“You never know really… but no it’s true. This is what she’s dealing with right now. She was honest in the fact that she had no money, and this is her way of going about it,” she straightforwardly answered.
Despite sharing answers generously, the actress admitted that interviews are definitely the hardest part in terms of promoting a plot twist-filled show such as “Pretty Little Liars.”
“I think interviews are the hardest part. You have to get so creative in how you deflect the question. It’s not easy to say, ‘Sorry, I can’t tell you’ so many times over. There’s so many things that are going to happen this season that I wish I could just tell my friends, my family, my mother…I’m like, ‘Mom, I can’t even tell you,'” she explained to Teen Vogue.
In the upcoming episode of the thriller which will air this coming Tuesday, Aria (Lucy Hale) will continue to hunt down answers with the help of Emily to find out if Ezra (Ian Harding) really has anything to do with the crime or not. Meanwhile, Spencer and Caleb team up to tackle a brand new mystery which may bring the two closer together.
