The midseason premiere of “Pretty Little Liars” season 6 kicked off the year with a shocking episode when former A, Charlotte (Vanessa Ray), was found dead after falling from a building. The findings pointed to murder, but the police are still uncertain who the killer is.
Prior to last week’s episode, the ladies were suspecting Aria (Lucy Hale) when she left the hotel. However, after telling the ladies that he met with Ezra (Ian Harding) to go for an evening walk along Rosewood church in episode 12 of the show, their suspicions turn to Ezra.
In the promotional trailer for the upcoming episode, it looks like Aria (Lucy Hale), Emily (Shay Mitchell), Hanna (Ashley Benson) and Spencer (Troian Bellisario) are taking the matter into their hands to confront Ezra instead of going to the police.
In the clip, Hanna tells Aria, “He needs to own up to what he did!”
Later on, the ladies were talking with Ezra, but the latter snaps and shouts. He tells Aria, “The person who made your life a living hell, I am not going to say I’m sorry that they are dead, cause I am not.” After which, he yells at the rest and tells them, “Get out! Now!”
Ezra seemed to have changed a lot and succumbed into some problems and addictions during the five-year leap from the first half and second half of “Pretty Little Liars” season 6. Is he Charlotte’s killer? Or did the accusation of the ladies hit a nerve? However, with no remorse, Ezra may indeed be Charlotte’s murderer and the new villain for season 6b of the show.
Fans will know more when episode 13 of “Pretty Little Liars” season 6, titled “The Gloves Are On” air on Jan. 26 at 8 P.M. EST on Freeform (formerly ABC Family).
