'Pokmon Z' release date: Rumors for mobile, NX game continue

Despite the lack of official information and with Nintendo focusing now on the two new upcoming Pokmon core games “Pokmon Sun” and “Pokmon Moon,” rumors about the long talked about game, “Pokmon Z,” remain to be alive.

According to reports, talks about the possibility of having a “Pokmon Z” is still going on. This time, the game is rumored to be coming to the Nintendo NX instead, seeing that The Pokmon Company and Nintendo are now all set to release new core Pokmon games for the Nintendo 3DS handheld”Pokmon Sun” and “Pokmon Moon.”

Another rumor suggested that the game might still become a reality, but only on mobile devices as Niantic may be developing a mobile game which will be called “Pokmon Z.” The game may be released later this year.

But as with all rumors, these speculations may end up as nothing but wild speculations. With Nintendo gearing up for promoting “Pokmon Sun” and “Pokmon Moon” for their much awaited release this coming November, the gaming company will have their hands full.

Also, there is also the highly anticipated augmented reality game “Pokmon GO.” The game is now in beta field testing period and was announced to be released sometime this year for Android and iOS smartphones.

As for the possibility of an NX release, it will mean that “Pokmon Z” will not have the chance to become a reality until after March 2017, should the original release window of Nintendo for their new home console gets followed.

In other news, the official Pokmon Trading Card Game recently received its new expansion pack, called “XY: Fates Collide.” The new expansion pack can be obtained via booster packs. It features new cards and introduces new Pokmon TCG strategies, three new Legendary Pokmons, and Pokmons that were featured in the “Pokmon XY and Z: The Series.”
