Along with the coming of two new core Pokmon games”Pokmon Sun” and “Pokmon Moon”comes the improvement of the new Pokmon storage feature called the Pokmon Bank. The Pokmon Bank will have players store and transfer Pokmons across games much easier. Also, when the upcoming new games get released, the Pokmon Bank feature will be updated to support various ways of transporting Pokmon from older games to the new ones.
As detailed by The Pokmon Company, the Pokmon Bank feature is a paid application service that was originally for “Pokmon X” and “Pokmon Y.” Pokmon Bank gives players an easier and better experience in stringing all of their caught Pokmons. Also, with the linked free application Pok Transporter, players can transfer their Pokmons to other games such as “Pokmon Black Version” and “Pokmon White Version.”
With “Sun” and “Moon,” players can make use of the Pokmon Bank to transfer their available Pokmon to new games via Pok Transporter. Players who play the virtual console editions of the original “Pokmon Red,” “Pokmon Blue,” and “Pokmon Yellow” can transfer their Pokmon to “Sun” and “Moon.” Players on “Pokmon Omega Ruby,” “Pokmon Alpha Sapphire,” “Pokmon X,” and “Pokmon Y” can also transfer games to “Sun” and “Moon” the same way.
The two new core Pokmon games were first announced in the most recent Pokmon Direct video session, which was led by The Pokmon Company CEO and President Tsunekazu Ishihara. Aside from the trailer for the two games, Ishihara also announced that Nintendo will be releasing the new “Pokmon Sun” and “Pokmon Moon” with support for nine different languages: English, Italian, Spanish, Korean, French, German, Japanese, Traditional Chinese, and Simplified Chinese.
“We hope that through Pokmon, players can overcome the language barrier and interact with other players from around the world,” Ishihara said.
“Pokmon Sun” and “Pokmon Moon” is set to be released this year for the Nintendo 3DS.
