A third Legendary Pokmon has been rumored to be coming to the new Pokemon games, “Pokmon Sun” and “Pokmon Moon.”
GameFreak once again allegedly filed a patent for the name of a new Pokmon that is expected to be another Legendary Pokmon in addition to the two previously rumored ones. Since this alleged new Pokmon will serve as a third Legendary in only two games, it is expected to play a vital role in the harmony of the two titles as well as the coexistence of the stories of the two games.
According to a new report from the rumor mill, there is an additional new Legendary Pokmon that might very well make its way to the upcoming two new core Pokmon games later this year, “Pokmon Sun” and “Pokmon Moon.” The new alleged Legendary Pokmon’s name is “Marshadow,” and is expected to join the roster of new Legedaries in the new games along with the previously rumored “Solagaleo” and “Lunaala.”
Solgaleo is expected to be the name of the Legendary Pokmon for “Pokmon Sun,” while Lunaala is expected to be in “Pokmon Moon.”
As for the presence of Marshadow in the game, it was noted that most new Pokmon games in the recent years have already featured a third Legendary Pokmon, aside from the usual two that come with each standalone game. For example, “Pokmon X and Y” had Yveltal and Xerneas with Zygrade as the third one. “Pokmon Omega Ruby and Alpha Sapphire,” meanwhile, had Groudon and Kyogre, with Rayquaza as the third Pokmon.
While the role of the rumored Marshadow cannot be determined as of the momentits existence is still even something that is still unofficialthe Pokmon is expected to serve as the “eclipse” between the themes of Sun and Moon, as the name of the Pokmon itself hints on it being a Ghost-type Pokmon.
“Pokmon Sun” and “Pokmon Moon” will be released sometime this year.
