The first footage of the two new core Pokmon games, “Pokmon Sun” and “Pokmon Moon” may be unveiled on April 3, as people behind the Pokmon series of games are set to make an appearance at a Pokmon variety show in Japan on the mentioned date.
According to a report by Pokmon fan site Serebii, the weekly Japanese variety show focused on the popular game franchise, called “Gathering at the Pokmon House” will be featuring in one of their upcoming episodes an appearance by Pokmon game series director Junichi Masuda. The series director will be joined by Pokmon games battle director Shigeki Morimoto, and “Pokmon Omega Ruby and Alpha Sapphire” game director Shigeru Ohmori. The team will be talking about new Pokmon games in the horizon. The episode will air in Japan on Sunday, April 3.
The report mentioned a high possibility that the people behind Pokmon games will be talking in length about the new two upcoming core Pokmon games, which are “Pokmon Sun” and “Pokmon Moon.” The episode of the variety show is expected to debut the first official footage from the game. Whether or not it will be a TV aired exclusive or if it will also be posted online for viewers outside Japan to be able to watch remains unclear as of the moment.
Meanwhile, a set of special features about “Pokmon Sun and Moon” is set to appear in the upcoming issue of the Japanese magazine “CoroCoro,” which will be out on April 15. However, as early as now, there had already been a number of alleged “leaked” magazine scans claiming to have official information regarding the upcoming games such as the Legendary Pokmon for the games, trainer looks, as well as new Pokmons that will come to the game. However, both set of “leaks” had been debunked to be fake information about the game.
“Pokmon Sun” and “Pokmon Moon” are set to be released for the Nintendo 3DS sometime this year.
