'Pokemon Go' news: Game to undergo Beta testing, fans invited to participate

There is still no certainty as to when exactly “Pokemon Go” will be released, but rumor has it that it is very likely to happen this year.

It is very obvious that gamers are eagerly awaiting the release of “Pokemon Go” this year as it will surely give them a new level of “Pokemon” gaming experience, thanks to the game’s real-life setting.

“The Pokmon Company and Niantic will be inviting users to field test Pokmon GO in Japan later this month. The Pokmon GO field test program will give users the opportunity to share early feedback and help improve the Pokmon GO experience. Please stay tuned for information about expansion of the field test to other markets,” the company’s announcement goes as posted by N4BB.

As the post goes, as of the moment, it is only those who are in Japan who are presented with the opportunity to participate in the Beta test for Pokemon. N4BB opines that even if the initial judgment of the upcoming game will be left in their hands, fans shouldn’t be worried as the Japanese are known to be a group of people who have the best knowledge when it comes to electronics and video games, and they are sure to come up with the best opinion and suggestions for “Pokemon Go.”

However, it will not only be the Japanese who will experience the Beta version testing of “Pokemon Go” after all, as Niantic has also announced that it will likewise conduct global Beta testing of the game. As to when, fans will just need to wait for further announcements.

Meanwhile, Ecumenical News reports that the GDC event wherein the supposed unveiling of “Pokemon Go” was supposed to happen has been cancelled. It was originally scheduled on March 14. Could it be that Niantic is waiting for the results of the Beta testing of the game first before finally unveiling “Pokemon Go”?
