Season 4 of the science fiction and thriller television series “Orphan Black” will premiere in around two weeks, with various information revealed regarding the show to further heighten the anticipation of the fans.
During the WonderCon event last weekend, executive producers John Fawcett and Graeme Manson revealed that the upcoming season will be going back to some plots from its initial run, reported Entertainment Weekly.
Manson explained, “We really wanted to look at the first season this year. We wanted to go back to that moment on the tracks with Beth and Sarah and go, ‘What did Sarah miss?’ There’s more story there.”
The story of season 4 will also look into Art (Kevin Hanchard) and Beth, prior to the latter’s death. In addition, it will tackle Delphine’s fate, Cosima’s issues, as well as the fears of Felix (Jordan Gavaris), but they did not elaborate on the details.
Meanwhile, Tatiana Maslany, who plays the multiple roles that rooted from cloning, talked about how she deals with playing different roles, in an interview with The Hollywood Reporter.
She explained, “The plot is very dense and my brain isn’t a plotty brain.” She admitted “feeling lost” at times, but revealed that her style is to try “to stay in the present moment and not think too much about where we’re going, or what’s controlling events.”
“Orphan Black” season 4 will return to the small screen on April 14.
Meanwhile, as an add-on bonus for the fans, the show will also be having a 30-minute after show weekly called “After the Black,” revealed the network in the same WonderCon event. Ajay Fry, Morgan Hoffman, and Teddy Wilson will lead the discussion as they talk to the cast, crew, and guests of the television series, as well as air some special footages and behind-the-scenes.
