“Orphan Black” has a new trailer for the upcoming season of the show, which cited some lines from a book.

The trailer started with a person wearing an animal head. In the background, some lines from the novel “Alice’s Adventures in Wonderland” could be heard as read by Sarah, Helena, and Cosima. “Burning with curiosity, she ran across the field and down a large rabbit hole. Never once considering how in the world she will get out again.”

The trailer narrated the main theme of the upcoming season. According to BBC America, season 4 will see Sarah going back to seek Beth Childs, the character who started all the cloning.

Meanwhile, Entertainment Weekly sat with co-creators John Fawcett and Graeme Manson to talk about a new clone called M.K. Fawcett expressed that they are excited to introduce the character because she is a “slightly traumatized clone who has a deep past.”

Manson hinted, “The character comes out of the shadows and for the first time we’re meeting someone who knows more than us.” He added, “Sarah is meeting a clone who has got more answers than she does, and yet she’s a slippery character,” while Fawcett piped in that M.K is also “very elusive, highly skilled, and very smart.”

It is still uncertain if the masked character shown in the trailer is M.K, but it is highly possible. Additionally, the show creators did not reveal who will portray her, but it is likely that actress Tatiana Maslany will also play this role.

Season 4 of “Orphan Black” will premiere in April.
