Fans of Netflix’s “Orange is the New Black” might see additional members to the series’ cast in the upcoming fourth season.

Speaking with Entertainment Tonight, Taryn Manning (Tiffany “Pennsatucky” Doggett) said that it would be great to have her “Crossroads” co-star Britney Spears in “OITNB.” She added, “Of course, I want Britney Spears everywhere you can see her. She’s the best.”

Manning also praised the pop superstar’s acting skills. Asked about what kind of role Spears can play in the series set in Litchfield Penitentiary, she said Spears could pull off any character. “I was so impressed working with her I was like — she’s just very sincere in her acting, you know? It’s like everyone wanted to maybe hope that she’s not gonna be good but she was great,” the actress replied.

Meanwhile, since Natasha Lyonne’s character (Nicky Nichols) was dragged to maximum security in the middle of the previous season, there has been no update on the character. Movie Pilot has reported that Kate Mulgrew (Galina “Red” Reznikov) wants to have a reunion with her surrogate daughter in the show because she feels that Nicky’s story is not yet over.

“You know I love my daughters, but she want to max for the wrong reasons. So we have to see if there’s any leeway. Where does Red relax her laws? Is it always going to be tough love or is there room for forgiveness? Because I think there’s a kind of loneliness that grows and grows and grows and grows where you’re in prison,” Mulgrew explained.

The reunion between Nicky and Red might be one of the crucial storylines in the fourth season of “OITNB.”

Also, as reported by Deadline, Jolene Purdy of “Under the Dome” will join the inmates of Litchfield Penitentiary in the new season. However, her role in the show has not been confirmed yet.

For those who are hoping to see Caitlyn Jenner in “OITNB” will be disappointed that the rumors of her appearance in the show are false. Laverne Cox (Sophie Burset) said that she does not have any idea about it. “I’m pretty sure that’s not true. I’m not involved in casting of our show, but it is really funny the rumors. It’s pretty ridiculous sometimes,” she added.

The fourth season of “Orange is the New Black” will air in 2016, with the three seasons available on Netflix.
