As early as now, the rumor mill is already hot because of the upcoming OnePlus 3. A purported teaser video of the rumored smartphine was leaked online, which was then followed by the release of an image of the alleged device.
According to a report by Times News UK, a leaked teaser trailer video was released online, which showed in motion what was said to be the OnePlus 3 flagship smartphone. The smartphone will succeed the current OnePlus 2.
The video showed the rumored device in full view. However, it did not offer any significant information as to the device, such as specs or release window for it.
The leaked video showed a black device with a screen display size that seemed to be about 5.5 inches to 5.7 inches, in a nearly bezel-less format. It looked to be a unibody built smartphone with a metal framing on it. The rear camera has an LED flash. A fingerprint scanner looked to be situated on the back panel of the device. However, the supposed teaser video showed “One Plus 3,” whereas the official company name had always been spelled as “OnePlus” with no spacing between words.
Following the leak of the alleged teaser, the first leaked image of the alleged OnePlus 3 surfaced online as well. The image showed a device that looked different from what was shown in the teaser, featuring instead a large device with a virtual home key and a thick bezel on the sides.
According to rumors, the OnePlus 3 might come with a 5.5-inch display with a mere 1080p resolution and Corning Gorilla Glass 4 protection. It is expected to run on Snapdragon 820, and might have two variants of a 4 GB RAM/16 GB ROM combo and a 5 GB RAM/64 GB ROM one.
