The long rumored and much anticipated new flagship from rising Chinese mobile company OnePlus, dubbed in the rumor mill as the OnePlus 3, was leaked in full view in a press render image. It revealed how the device might look once it becomes available to fans. Moreover, the leaked render image, among others, showed what may be a new look and approach in design as compared to previous releases.
In a recent post by mobile industry tipster Evan Blass, @evleaks on Twitter. he showed what was claimed to be the image of the long rumored flagship OnePlus 3. At first glance, fans will notice that the alleged design of the OnePlus 3 aims to get rid of the traditional sandstone finish of the OnePlus 2 and OnePlus X. The glass back panel build, which was also used in past iterations was also changed.
Now, the OnePlus 3 seemes to have a unibody build and may be made entirely of metal. Based on the photo, it seems that it will also feature slightly curved edges. Additionally, there is the wireless antenna band that was placed on the top and bottom part of the back panel of the device.
Aside from the leaked image, Blass also revealed that the OnePlus 3 will sport an AMOLED screen. It will be powered by a 3,000mAh battery.
As for other information about the device’s specifications, it was previously rumored that the OnePlus 3 will run under the new QUALCOMM Snapdragon 820 chipset and will come in two different variantsa 4GB RAM/32GB ROM combo and 4GB RAM/64GB ROM edition.
