Fans are pretty hyped about the supposed release of “One Punch Man” season 2 with rumors of Saitama and Garou going at each other in the show’s premiere episode.
The anime adaptation of the superhero parody webcomic seems to be wasting no time in getting to the juicy bits of the new installment with the life of Saitama as the embodiment of a modern-day hero. And what better way to test all the hard work that he has put into in the first season than to pit him against the former disciple of Bang.
On top of his action-packed exploits and missions, the self-trained warrior may also be embarking on a love affair in “One Punch Man” season 2. Rumor has it that not one but two potential lovers could be appearing in the story. To make matters complicated, the said tug-of-war love line will be between sisters Tatsumaki and Fubuki. While both are tipped to be worthy of Saitama, as well as perfectly matched with his quirks, the girls are also said to be heroes on their own. Tatsumaki is an S-Class Rank 2 hero. Her younger sister, Fubuki, on the other hand, not only belongs to the B-Class but is the leader of The Blizzard Group.
Should this bit eventually unravel in the narrative of the show, it would definitely be a great way to introduce levity so as to give viewers a three-dimensional view of the life of the main hero.
No official release date has been disclosed for the return of “One Punch Man” but various media outlets are predicting that its long-awaited comeback date will be announced sometime soon. The final episode from the anime’s first season aired back in December 2015 and was followed by the English-dubbed version a couple of weeks back. It can be remembered that during the summer, there had been speculations that the show would resume in October. Obviously, that did not become a reality.
