'One Piece' chapter 831 spoilers: Straw Hat pirates to battle Big Mom, Jinbei to lose an arm, Pedro taken hostage

Rumor has it that the upcoming chapter 831 of manga “One Piece” will feature Jinbei with a lost arm as he may get injured in what could be a roulette wheel kind of situation.

Some reports claim that the story will continue with the Whole Cake Island arc which features Luffy and the rest of the Straw Hat pirates possibly attempting to rescue Sanji from Big Mom and the terrifying army of Germa 66.

However, before they manage to take back one of their members, a potential face-off with the touted villain will ensue resulting in Jinbei losing his arm. There are also speculations that instead of Jinbei, it may be Pekoms or Pudding that is in harm’s way. If it turns out to be the latter, she may not have Sanji by her side with the wedding crashers in their midst.

Moreover, the Vinsmokes are reportedly on their way and will most likely side with Big Mom. The battle will result in a lot of casualties for the pirates, other fighters, and even innocent residents. It is also predicted that several cake houses will be destroyed.

In the middle of the melee, a soldier will rush to inform Big Mom about an intruder. With Pedro requesting his team to let him handle the procurement of the poneglyphs, he will be caught in the act of stealing the item by Big Mom. Without reservations, he will run as fast as he can to save his life with the ponegylphs in tow.

However, Big Mom will catch up with him easily and will forcibly take the stolen item. The Yonko will spare his life but will ask the soldiers to take him into their custody. As Pedro becomes their hostage, Big Mom will announce over the megaphone that one of the Straw Hat’s allies has been captured. It remains to be seen how the protagonist’s group will react to the situation.

Since no official promo has been released yet, available information should be taken with a grain of salt. “One Piece” chapter 831 is expected to be released sometime before the month ends.
