'One Piece: Burning Blood' gameplay video shows Sanji not hurting women

BANDAI NAMCO Entertainment recently released a new gameplay demo of their highly anticipated game “One Piece: Burning Blood.” The demo showcased the previously announced swimsuit DLC costumes for Nami, Robin, Boa Hancock, and Perona. The video also showed the women in a fierce fight against each other, featuring Sanji who cannot even lay a single attack on any of them.

The demo that was released by VJump showed the pre-order bonus DLC costumes for players who will be getting advance purchases of “One Piece: Burning Blood.” Aside from Nami, Robin, Boa Hancock, and Perona, the video also fetaured the recently announced playable character Koala of the Revolutionary Army. To make up for the 3 vs 3 team, Sanji was included. In the manga and anime versions, Sanji is known for his undying, if not eccentric, devotion to beautiful women.

The teams were split into two: Nami, Hancock and Koala against the team of Perona, Robin, and Sanji. Nami used her Sorcery Clima-Tact to launch weather-based attacks on her opponent and create visual illusions. Perona, meanwhile, used her Devil Fruit abilities, the Horo Horo no Mi powers in summoning “hollows” that directly damaged opponents or inflicted them with various effects. Koala used raw physical strength infused with her Haki, while Robin used her Devil Fruit powers to grow limbs anywhere. Hancock used her “beautiful” attacks.

Sanji, on the other hand, did not do anything at all during the fight. Instead of fighting, Sanji only blocked the attacks of the women and did a move that somehow expressed his love for them. It dealt very little damage, too.

The gameplay video also showed a short fight between Gear Fourth Luffy against Doflamingo.

“One Piece: Burning Blood” will be released in Japan on April 21, North America on May 31, and June 3, 2016 in Europe. The game will be playable on the PS4, PS Vita, and PC. However, North America and Europe will get an Xbox One version.
