The second half of “Once Upon A Time” season 6 is about to air in a few days, and the show is expected to unveil the identity of a mysterious figure as well.
A mysterious hooded figure has been hunting Emma (Jennifer Morrison) in the previous episodes. In the second half, the hooded creature will be revealed as Gideon (Giles Matthey) the adult version of Gideon to be specific according to Siver Times. He is the son of Rumplestiltskin/Gold (Robert Carlyle) and Belle (Emilie de Ravin).
In the teaser trailer for episode 11, titled “Tougher Than The Rest,” David (Josh Dallas) and Hook (Colin O’Donoghue) are chasing Gideon before the latter can reach Emma’s location. Gideon confesses to his parents, Belle and Gold, about his whereabouts during the time he was missing.
As seen in the latest episode, Gideon was abducted by the Black Fairy (Jaime Murray).
Meanwhile, the Evil Queen, Regina (Lana Parrilla), realizes that everyone in the fairytale land prefers to stay in the parallel world, known as the “wish realm,” wherein the Evil Queen was defeated. Regina did not take this fact too well.
Meanwhile, Emma is being assisted by a stranger, and it seems she has returned home from the alternate world. She has likely found her power and how to change her fate. However, Regina is revealed to be following her.
It looks like the fairytale characters are back in Storybrooke.
“This season is going to be different from past because it’s not going to be Hyde comes to town, we fight with him for 10 episodes, and then in the winter finale, he dies and we move on,” showrunner Edward Kitsis described (via Entertainment Weekly) the plot of the sixth season.
“We are changing around what we’re doing this year and going back to that season 1 mentality of small town stories and smaller arcs,” Kitsis added.
“What’s really exciting about it is, for season 6, really being in Storybrooke again,” Adam Horowitz, the executive producer of the ABC series, stated.
“Once Upon A Time” season 6 is set to return on March 5 on ABC.
