ABC recently released the plot synopsis for the sixth season of the popular fantasy drama television series, “Once Upon a Time,” and there’s very good reason to believe that a large part of the upcoming season will be about Emma (Jennifer Morrison) and her mysterious secret.
Well, as vague as the revelation is, it could be that Emma will actually discover a secret that, according to the synopsis, “could have serious consequences for her family and loved ones.” But other than that, there really are no more additional details, which makes sense because the showrunners certainly would want fans of the show to keep on guessing as to what that secret is and how it would affect Emma’s fate in the new season.
For starters, Emma plays as a bail bondsperson in the town of Storybrooke, who also happens to be the daughter of Snow White (Ginnifer Goodwin) and Prince Charming (Josh Dallas). She came from the Enchanted Forest through a magic wardrobe when she was still a baby, the purpose of which was to prevent her from getting cursed.
On the other hand, various reports say that Regina (Lana Parrilla) will have her hands full because of her decision to finally get rid of her Evil Queen persona. The question is will she even survive the onslaught of the Evil Queen’s anger once she starts destroying her?
Also, Henry, played by Jared Gilmore, is expected to be one of the characters that the first few episodes of season 6 will focus on as he is slated to meet those who have come from the Land of Untold Stories.
The new season of “Once Upon a Time,” similar to the first two of the series, will be going back to telling a complete story, which by the way is a stark contrast as to how the third, fourth and fifth seasons were done. Season 6 debuts on Sept. 25.
