The upcoming episode of “Once Upon a Time” season 5 will see a face off between Rumpelstiltskin and Hades.

In the previous episode titled “Sisters,” the good guys of Storybrooke were able to think of a way to somehow trick Hades (Greg Germann). As Zelena (Rebecca Mader) was on her way to a date with Hades, Rumpelstiltskin (Robert Carlyle) kidnapped her through the help of Peter Pan (Robbie Kay).

Titled “Firebird,” Hades will not be very pleased when he learns about this in the upcoming episode of the television show. The official synopsis posted on TV.com reveals, “Hades turns to the heroes for help after Gold and Peter abduct Zelena. However, Cruella objects to the heroes leaving without her. In the past, Emma makes an unexpected friendship while looking for her family.”

The exclusive sneak peek that Entertainment Online was able to get shows how angry Hades is at Rumple. The preview initially starts off with Hades closing the diner with the notice “Closed Until Further Notice.” Upon his command, Rumple and Peter Pan appear before him with their hostage.

Zelena immediately tried to apologize, but Hades brushes it off and blames the Storybrooke protagonists. However, Rumple reasons out, “We wouldn’t be here if you had ripped up that contract when I asked you to.” Hades further jabs and says that he “does not have leverage,” but Rumple boasts that now he has and directs the antagonist to “not move” except to tear the contract.

Bitterly, Hades rips the contract in half. In exchange, he asks them to bring Zelena back. Rumple and Peter Pan will most likely hand her over, but the duo is bound to cause more trouble ahead of them.

In a spoiler revealed on TV Guide, the finale will see Hades attempting to tie the knot with Zelena, but he will also keep as many souls in the underworld as possible.

Episode 20 of “Once Upon a Time” season 5 will air on May 1 at 8 P.M. EST on ABC. The season will conclude in a two-hour special on May 15.
