NVIDIA recently updated their Game Ready drivers with added support for their new GeForce GTX 10 series mobile graphics processing units (GPUs) and optimization for several game titles.

According to PC Gamer, those who have laptops with Pascal-based GPUs inside may want to install the so-called 372.54 Windows Hardware Quality Labs (WHQL) driver package. This will provide better handling for games such as “Obduction,” “F1 2016” and the “Paragon” beta version. NVIDIA also added DirectX Scalable Link Interface (SLI) profiles for both “No Man’s Sky” and “Deus Ex: Mankind Divided.”

Aside from the said improvements, those who have experienced crashes while playing and the Netflix Windows Store app stuttering could also receive the advantages of the driver as it is equipped with latest fix for both issues.

Meanwhile, CybertronPC’s Egyptian god-themed CLX series has also received an upgrade with the addition of the GTX 10 series mobile GPUs. Reports have claimed that consumers who want to have a powerful laptop with desktop-class performance could get their hands on the Anubis Osiris line that has been recently configured.

Also, the Osiris 15 and Osiris 17 laptops can have up to the Intel Core i7-6700K processor partnered with either NVIDIA’s GTX 1060 or GTX 1070 on both models, while the GTX 1080 can be used for the bigger model.

WCCFtech noted that the high-performance chips are expected to give great improvement in the gaming experience and efficiency of mobility platforms compared to the preceding Maxwell GPUs.

As reported previously, the new platforms are predicted to provide longer battery life. The GTX 1080 is the flagship device and is based on the full GP104 architecture. It houses 2,560 CUDA cores, 160 texture mapping units (TMUs), and 64 render output units (ROPs). It serves as the first solution in utilizing GDDR5X memory clocked in at 10 GHz for a stunning bandwidth of 320 GB per second.

On the other hand, GTX 1070 has slightly less CUDA cores at 2,040, along with 170 TMUs and 64 ROPs. The clock speed is measured at 1442 MHz core and 1645 MHz boosts clock, while the memory is at 8 GHz.

Both mobile GPUs are currently rolling out in the market.
