Previous reports of a March 2017 release for the long-awaited Nintendo NX seem to go well with new speculations that are making rounds as of late. The European counterpart of Nintendo’s website may have hinted on a definite date of the console’s release, as well as the equally talked about “The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild.”
Nintendo France’s amiibo page was spotted by some fans to have posted three figurines one with Link flexing a bow, another variant of the character mounted on a horse, and finally a so-called Guardian which will be featured in the upcoming “Breath of the Wild” game. As per the posting, the amiibos are presumed to come out on March 4, 2017.
For the unfamiliar, amiibos are small figurines of Nintendo’s characters which have direct interactions with the company’s current game consoles and it was introduced almost two years ago.
Moreover, the rumored release date of both the NX and “Breath of the Wild” was further fortified as some fans and game analysts highlighted the fact that the amiibos can be either rolled out alongside the game or at a later date after the game has been released.
Meanwhile, the Nintendo NX is highly likely to come out in March of next year provided that no more delays will be blocking its way. Currently, several game developers have mentioned their intent in teaming up with Nintendo in releasing titles for the forthcoming NX. Lately, there have been unconfirmed reports on the possible arrival of “Resident Evil 7: Biohazard” on the highly anticipated game platform.
In addition, the upcoming game console was expected to be presented at the recently concluded Tokyo Game Show 2016, but Nintendo seemingly snubbed the said event which many have interpreted as the console having been delayed yet again.
