Continuing its run of weekly deals, Microsoft announced its latest offerings for Xbox One and Xbox 360.
In a blog post, Xbox Live head Larry “Major Nelson” Hryb unveiled the list of games and add-on deals. One of the more notable titles on sale for Xbox One is “Mass Effect: Andromeda,” with a 30 percent discount at $28 USD. It’s Deluxe Edition is also discounted at 35 percent. Another title is “WWE 2K17” with a whopping 60 percent discount. It is now available for $24 USD.
When it comes to the add-ons, “Call of Duty” fans will get to enjoy discounted Season Passes for “Advanced Warfare,” “Black Ops III,” “Ghosts,” and “Infinite Warfare.” EA Sports titles are also on sale like “FIFA17” and its Deluxe Edition, “UFC 2,” and the EA Family Bundle. “Fallout 4” is another title with numerous add-ons one sale this week.
For Xbox 360, “Call of Duty: Black Ops” and “Call of Duty: Black Ops II” are both on sale at 50 percent and 60 percent off, respectively. “Batman – The Telltale Series” and its Season Pass also go on sale with a 60 percent discount.
With roughly three months away the Xbox One X release, the console has been one of the hottest topics lately. Game publisher Ubisoft earlier this month noted that the console will likely boost the gaming industry. “We did a deal with Microsoft on Assassin’s Creed: Origins, which is taking really good advantage of the power of the machine,” said Ubisoft CEO Guillemot in a Gamespot interview.
“We like very much what they are doing because instead of having a Kinect or something this time the industry went after more power for the machine, so more immersion, better AI, and overall better games,” Guillemot added. He also stressed that “the industry will grow because the better the experiences, the more people want to have it.”
Tagged as “the most powerful console ever,” the Xbox One X goes on sale on November 7 for $499 USD.
