'NCIS' season 14 episode 4 spoilers: McGee prepares to propose to Delilah, Gibbs and his team investigate a murder

Things are only going to get better next week because love is in the air. According to the official synopsis of the upcoming episode, Timothy McGee (Sean Murray) is planning to propose to his longtime girlfriend Delilah Fielding (Margo Harshman).

The two have been an item ever since season 11, so fans will be pleased to know that things are moving forward at last. The question is will he really do it in this episode? Or is he just planning it? Viewers will have to wait and see.

Titled “Love Boat,” the upcoming episode will show Leroy Jethro Gibbs (Mark Harmon), Alex Quinn (Jennifer Esposito), and Jimmy Palmer (Brian Dietzen) board a destroyer after the lifeless body of a navy lieutenant is discovered by civilians. Apparently, civilians taking part in a cruise can spend a night in the warship. Sounds dangerous.

“General Hospital” actress Hayley Erin has confirmed that she will appear in the episode. Sources say Erin is going to be portraying a character named Kasey Powers. Powers is one of the people aboard the ship when the navy lieutenant was found, and the character may be linked to the crime.

Here’s a look at the promo trailer for “NCIS” season 14 episode 4:

The preview revealed that there is a connection between the dead body, a pop star, and the engagement ring McGee is holding. Take a wild guess.

Meanwhile, there is a rumor saying that David McCallum may leave the show. McCallum plays NCIS’ chief medical examiner Donald “Ducky” Mallard, and the character has been a part of the “NCIS” since the series started back in 2003. There is also talk of CBS canceling “NCIS” after showrunner Gary Glasberg’s death. Of course, these are unverified rumors so readers are advised to take everything with a grain of salt.

“NCIS” season 14 episode 4 airs on Tuesday, Oct. 11, at 8 p.m. ET on CBS.
