The “NCIS: LA” bosses will be disguising themselves in order to find out more about the new case that they have to look into.
In the previous episode of the police procedural drama spinoff titled “Granger, O.,” the story focused on NCIS Assistant Director of Special Projects Owen Granger (Miguel Ferrer) and the North Korean spy named Jennifer Kim (Malese Jow), who is actually his illegitimate daughter. In addition, the episode also explored the possible mole inside the organization.
On the other hand, the team will be shifting their focus on a different matter as they look into a new case in episode 23, titled “Where There’s Smoke.” Hinting from the title, the case in the upcoming episode will have something to do with fire, where Supervisory Special Agent G. Callen (Chris O’ Donnel) and Senior NCIS Special Agent Sam Hanna (LL Cool J) have to go beyond their comfort zone so they can investigate the case.
The official synopsis posted in TV.com reads, “Sam and Callen go undercover as firefighters when top secret information about suspected terrorists is stolen from a secure Department of Defense container at the site of a fire.”
Meanwhile, in the promotional trailer posted on Spoiler TV, the preview initially showed the team discussing the new case. After which, Sam and Callen seemed to be very happy about their undercover mission as they wore big smiles with their new costumes. The sneak peek also teased a “hotter than ever” episode as it showed snippets of the dangerous scenes that a firefighter had to undergo in order to put out a fire and save people. Will the NCIS team be able to find out and uncover the suspects involved in the case?
Episode 23 of “NCIS: LA” will air on April 25 at 10 P.M. EST on CBS.
