Last week, the final installment in the “Storm” series, titled “Naruto Shippuden Ultimate Ninja Storm 4” was finally launched in all regions, raking in huge sales, especially for the PlayStation 4 console, based on the data collected from Feb. 1 to 7, reported Siliconera.
One of the features of the new game is that it contains the most number of playable characters. However, not all the characters will be given easily or for free, as some will need to be unlocked either through the Story Mode or through DLCs slated for release this year.
Most of the characters will be unlocked once the Story Missions have been completed. iDigital Times listed down these characters, which include Rin after finishing “Boys in the Midst of War,” Obito (Berserk) after completing “In Hell,” Hanabi (The Last) after the story of “Team 7 United,” Obito (10 Tails Jinchiriki) after “Filling a Hole of the Heart,” and Guy (Great Ninja War) after the story of “The Crimson Beast.”
On the other hand, players need to complete the “Thunder Races” under “Wind Rages” in order to get Madara and Naruto from “Sage of the Six Paths.” They may also unlock Kaguya and Kakashi of “Double Sharigan” after finishing “The Violent Goddess Part 2” of “Kaguya.” As for players who are interested to unlock Sasuke of “Rinne-Sharingan,” they need to complete “Crimson Beast.”
Meanwhile, players who pre-ordered the game will get Naruto, Sakura, Hinata, and Sasuke, all from “The Last,” as bonuses. For those who have not pre-ordered the game, they may still get these characters by completing the entire Story Mode.
Aside from the Story Mode, fans may also enjoy Adventure Mode of the game, which explores Sakura and Hinata trying to deliver a letter to Naruto in the Hidden Sand Village. Along the quest, it also unlocks additional missions on the side.
“Naruto Shippuden Ultimate Ninja Storm 4” is available for PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC.
