Barely a month has passed since Bandai Namco released its fighting game “Naruto Shippuden: Ultimate Ninja Storm 4” and the game has already released a free update specifically for PC/Steam players of the game. The release date of the game’s first of three DLCs has also been announced, giving its fans the exact date when their favorite fighting game will get new content. The official announcement came via the game’s official Twitter account which said that the first DLC pack will be arriving on March 8 for Season Pass holders and March 15 for individual purchase.

An Ecumenical News report said that some fans have been expecting the DLC to drop before the end of February, as earlier rumored. With this announcement however, fans do not need to wait too long before getting new content.

According to another report in iDigitalTimes, the first DLC pack is titled “Shikamaru-den” and will be bringing a new scenario, a costume for Naruto that comes from the “Boruto-Naruto the Movie,” and secret combos for the following teams: Hinata, Kiba and Shino; Successive Hokage; Asuma and Shikamaru; and lastly, Naruto (in his “Boruto-Naruto the Movie” costume) and Boruto. The report also mentioned some unspecified in-game items.

The Ecumenical News report also mentioned other items that the DLC pack will be bringing to the game such as 10 costumes which were already shown in previous games, 10 ninja info cards and 10 matching voices. The additional scenario is also said to last three hours.

Aside from paid content, the game also recently received an update for PC/Steam players. The patch is said to bring about improved performance for the game’s PC version, which includes a “return to Default” option in the Keyboard Settings menu, improvements in the language options and some changes in the game’s audio.
