The latest episodes of “Naruto Shippuden” proved to be some of the most emotional ones in the anime’s run as the death of Obito was seen in episode 473, and the hero was finally reunited with Rin in the afterlife. But before moving on to the next plane, Obito asked Rin to wait a bit longer as he wanted to help Kakashi one last time in defeating Kaguya. The episode ended with Naruto, Sasuke and Sakura finally sealing Kaguya to stop her from causing more destruction and deaths.
Meanwhile, episode 474 featured the loss of another character as Madara Uchiha took his last breath. Hashirama Senju and Madara were having a conversation when the latter died, and while many noted that the animation was not perfect, fans felt that it was a fitting way to usher in the end of the series, as episode 475 titled “The Final Valley” is reportedly the last in the hit anime and will see the epic battle between Naruto and Sasuke.
The end of Kaguya’s arc in the “Naruto” manga, where the TV series is based on, signals the start of the Naruto and Sasuke arc wherein the two fighters have a violent battle in which they both lose an arm.
In the preview for the episode, Naruto is asked by Kaguya’s son if there are any changes to the answers he gave after battling his mother, and Naruto defiantly says that his answer remains the same. The monster turns his gaze to Sasuke and asks him the same question, and he answers, “Yes, but first…the current Five Kage inside the Infinite Tsukuyomi…”
It is expected that Sasuke will reveal his intentions to kill the Kage and Naruto in the episode, and the battle between Naruto and Sasuke begins at the Valley of the End, where their conflict first began.
“Naruto Shippuden” episode 475 is slated to air on Sept. 8.
