“Naruto Shippuden” is coming to its end as the anime revealed Kakashi’s face, wrapped the Kaguya arc, and featured Obito’s emotional death scene in recent episodes. As the anime heads to its conclusion, it is expected that fans will see the story go full circle as Naruto and Sasuke have a final face-off at the place where their rivalry began.
Before the show returned to the original “Naruto” timeline, a filler episode showed Kakashi’s face for the first time in the anime’s history, and there was a lot of positive reaction to the great reveal. After this episode, the show returned to the story and saw how Kaguya planned to take over the world. Kaguya sent Sasuke to another dimension, and Obito and Sakura joined forces to get him back. Sasuke was able to return, but their problems weren’t over as they still had to defeat Kaguya.
Obito saw that the only way to win was to sacrifice himself, and the anime saw his emotional goodbye to Naruto and Kakashi before Obito’s body disintegrated. But before joining Rin in the afterlife, Obito returned to give his Sharingan to Kakashi, and with Naruto, Sasuke and Sakura’s help, they were able to seal Kaguya to prevent her from causing harm. Naruto also had an emotional reunion with his father who was briefly reanimated, and his father told him that he has grown to be a remarkable young man.
In the preview for episode 475, Naruto defiantly tells Kaguya’s son that he won’t be swayed, while Sasuke didn’t answer and instead, he mentioned something about the Five Kage inside the Infinite Tsukuyomi. The episode titled “The Final Valley” is expected to feature the fight between Naruto and Sasuke at the Valley of the End, where their conflict first began. The episode is based on the final chapter of the “Naruto” manga wherein both Naruto and Sasuke end up losing an arm after their violent battle.
“Naruto Shippuden” episode 475 is slated to air on Sept. 8 on Crunchyroll.
