Lenovo’s Motorola Mobility may finally be launching its long rumored new flagship smartphone next month on June 9, as the company recently teased the release of something new for the Motorola smartphone lineup. A not so subtle hint of the old-school days of Motorola phones, specifically the days of the RAZR devices, was given.
Motorola Mobility posted on its YouTube channel a new video announcing the coming of something newmost possibly the company’s newest flagship smartphone. The ad had all over it the special appearance of the Motorola RAZR, the company’s popular flip phone device way back before smartphones became popular.
While the short announcement did tease something for June 9, it did not reveal what could be expected on the said date. However, rumors suggest that reveal might be for the long rumored new flagship device of the company, the Motorola Moto Xor as what was previously reported, the newly rebranded Moto Z line.
Reportedly, there will be two different variant for the upcoming line of flagship smartphonea Vector Thin and a Vertex. The Vector Thin will allegedly be released as the Moto Z Style, and the Vertex may be the Moto Z Play. Both devices sport a 5.5-inch AMOLED display.
The Moto Z Style will allegedly have Quad HD resolution and will run under a Snapdragon 820 chipset with a CPU clocking in at a speed of 2.0 GHz. There will be either a 3GB or 4GB worth of RAM along with 32GB worth of built-in internal storage capacity.
The Moto Z Play, meanwhile, was tipped to have Full HD resolution on a Snapdragon 625 chipset, and RAM and ROM combo of 2GB and 16GB, respectively.
