Motorola’s recent launch event done in different cities of the worldNew Delhi, India, and the cities of London, New York, and Sao Paulointroduced three new smartphones users should watch out for.
They are: the Motorola Moto X Style, the Moto X Play, and the Moto G 3<sup>rd Generation.
The Moto X Style (aka Moto X Pure Edition in the US) sports a 5.7″ TFT LCD display, with a stunning 1440p Quad HD (1440×2560) resolution and Corning Gorilla Glass 3 protection. It has a feature-rich 21 megapixel rear camera (which can record videos of up to 4K resolution), and a 5 megapixel front snapper. The phone is equipped with an IP52 certified water repellant Nano-coating. The device is powered by an All Day Battery with 3000mAh capacity, which could last up to 10 hours of battery life with just 15 minutes of charging time.
The Moto X Style is coming this September, for $399.
The Moto X Play, meanwhile, sports a 5.5-inch display with 1080p Full HD resolution and Corning Gorilla Glass 3 protection. The device is water repellent and runs on an Octacore Snapdragon 615 processor, with and Adreno 405 GPU. It has 2GB of RAM, with options between 16GB/32GB internal memory, and support of an external microSD expansion. It has a 21 megapixel rear camera and a 5 megapixel front camera.
The device is powered by a 3630mAh battery, which can last up to 48 hours on mixed usage.
The Moto X Play won’t be coming to the US region.
The Moto G 3<sup>rd Gen features a 5″ HD display, with Corning Gorilla Glass 3 protection. It boasts of an IPX7-rated protection, safeguarding the phone from accidental drops in water. It runs with a Snapdragon 410 processor, and has 1GB of RAM and 8GB of internal memory, expandable through microSD up to 32GB.
The Moto G 3<sup>rd Gen is available for $179.
All models will run on Android Lollipop 5.1.1.
