With Microsoft finally announcing a definite date for their much-awaited event this month, it is expected that the company will be boasting the latest tweak of their current operating system, Windows 10. Apart from this, the current word on the street is that Microsoft will also be presenting the latest iteration of their ultraportable hybrid dubbed the Surface Pro 5.
However, there are some naysayers who believe that the upcoming event could be focusing more on the additional features and cloud-based attributes that will arrive as part of Redstone 2, the much-talked-about upgrade for the Windows 10 OS. Moreover, the company event is also said to tackle recent developments for the company’s game platform, the Xbox One. Information regarding the so-called Project Scorpio console may also be dished out.
It is also worthy to mention that rival tech firm Apple is also eyeing the latter part of the month to be the suitable time frame to release its other devices those that were not spotted at their September keynote. With that said, it’s quite plausible that Microsoft might also do the same thing and they could include a device or two in which fans believe that it could be the aforementioned latest render of the Surface Pro.
In the event that the versatile tablet would come to actualize, many are quite expectant that the device could be donning Intel’s Kaby Lake chipset together with other features such as a 4K display, a substantial amount of random access memory (RAM), and improved rear and selfie shooters.
Meanwhile, others are also speculating that Microsoft could finally introduce their much-hyped handset known as the Surface Phone which will be like a miniaturized Surface Pro as it was reported to also sport the Surface Type Cover.
As of late, the Redmond-based giant has remained silent on what to expect with the company’s forthcoming reveal. Rest assured the said event will push through this Oct. 26.
