Microsoft’s Surface Pro 4 is probably the most hyped-up device in the market, and rumors say that the “laplet” might be released on or after Windows 10 is released.
While Microsoft has not made an official announcement on when the Surface Pro 4 is going to be released, Tech News Today noted that it will make sense for the Redmond, California-based tech giant to unveil Windows 10 on its newest device.
This makes the Windows 10 release date a good release date for the Surface Pro 4 as well, with Tech News Today saying that the Surface Pro 4 will be a “perfect stage” to reveal the capabilities of Microsoft’s latest operating system.
According to the Inquistr, Microsoft is going to release Windows 10 on July 29.
Master Herald also said that Microsoft’s huge price cuts on the Surface Pro 3 is an indication that the company is about to launch the tablet/laptop Surface Pro 4 “very soon.”
As for specs, an article at News Every Day said that the Surface Pro 4 is likely to have 16GB of RAM and an incredibly large 1 terrabyte (TB) of internal storage space. The website also alleged that Microsoft is working with Intel to integrate the latest Skylake processor chip into the Surface Pro 4.
Master Herald, on the other hand, reported that the Surface Pro 4 is going to be equipped with Intel’s Core M Broadwell chip.
The Vine Report also said that there might be three variants of storage memory – 128GB, 256GB, and 500GB.
News Every Day also alleged that the Surface Pro 4 is going to be fitted with technology that supports the upcoming Holo Lens, Microsoft’s virtual reality device designed for Windows 10.
BGR said that the Surface Pro 4 is going to feature a 12-inch display with 2160 x 1440 pixels of display resolution.
The Surface Pro 4 might also have an 8 megapixel rear camera and a 3.5 MP front-facing camera, Tech News Today added.
