Game enthusiasts may be delighted to find out that the online multiplayer feature of “Metal Gear Solid V: The Phantom Pain” is now available for full version for PC dubbed as “Metal Gear Online.”
According to a post on the game’s official Steam Community page, the full game can be accessed by all players now that the PC version is available for download after the beta testing.
“Given the right platform, the right game, any player can be shaped into an online player. The Beta has officially concluded and the game is now available for launch. We took in a lot of feedback and made a few key adjustments. After some initial hiccups we’re going forward guns at the ready,” the post read.
Even though the game has been launched already, fans may expect more improvements in the coming months as there are planned patches to be released, “However that doesn’t mean we’ve stopped development, quite the contrary. Just like the previously released console versions of MGO, we’ll be integrating new updates to the game to improve the experience and add content,” the developers added.
Meanwhile, those who may not have able to get their hands on the beta version which ended last week, they have little incentives to give. If they are going to participate in a match between January 19 to January 26, they will receive a bonus reward of 3000 Gear Points that they can use in customizing the gear style of brand new characters.
The developers further wished that the reiteration may see new additions to the growing community of gamers saying, “We’re excited to see a brand new burgeoning pvp community on PC with Metal Gear Online. It’s likewise thrilling to add another community of players to our upcoming MGO DLC and update plans.”
The full version of “Metal Gear Online” is said to follow the console systems format where 16 players can battle in a squad-style competitive matches. There are also special customization options and a Buddy System feature.
