The new Meizu m3 note phablet device is now available in India. Coming in to the country more than a month after it was first released in its home Chinese market, the device is now available to view on a listing on Amazon India, where it is priced for INR 9,999 or at least $150 in current exchange rates.
However, the device is not yet ready for immediate purchase, as the listing said that there will be a flash sale on May 31. Registrations for the flash sale is now open.
As for the specs, the Meizu m3 note was released as the first “m” device to have a unibody build made out of a 6000 series aluminum. The device sports a 5.5-inch display with 1080p Full HD resolution. The display is made out of a 2.D curved glass display and comes equipped with a Dinorex T2X-1 glass for scratch and shock protection.
The device runs under a MediaTek Helio P10 chipset, with an octa-core CPU clocking in at a speed of 1.8 GHz. A Mali T860 GPU is present to handle the graphics of the device for playback and gaming purposes. On the physical home button, the Meizu m3 note features a fingerprint scanner technology equipped with the company’s own mTouch 2.1 feature.
As for the memory, coming with the built-in 32 GB internal storage is the support for external microSD expansion of up to 128 GB worth. However, the device does not feature a dedicated slot for the microSD card, which means that it will share a slot with the SIM2 slot of the Dual SIM hybrid functionality of the device.
The m3 note sports a 13-megapixel main rear camera coupled with a 5-megapixel front facing snapper for selfies and other similar purposes. The device is powered by a 4,000mAh battery. It boots on Android Lollipop 5.1 with Flyme OS running on top of it.
