After months of trying to escape from the public eye, Britain’s Prince Harry and American actress Meghan Markle are finally caught evidently on camera “together” during a dinner date in London.
In a recent report from The Sun, the lovebirds were spotted exiting the Soho House in London, England. Images showed the royal walking hand-in-hand with his girlfriend.
According to the report, the 32-year-old prince first met the “Suits” actress at Soho House, a private members’ club. They were introduced through a mutual friend last year.
Could this be considered as the “official” announcement of their romantic relationship?
It should be noted that in November 2016, Kensington Palace has released an official statement on behalf of Prince Harry addressing the public to end the harassment towards Markle. The statement also confirmed that Prince Charles’ son has been in a relationship with the 35-year-old Markle for a “few months” already.
The statement asserted that Prince Harry was fully aware of the public’s “significant curiosity about his private life.” Thus, he’s worried about his girlfriend’s safety.
Prince William, the Duke of Cambridge, supported his brother’s appeal, stating (via Telegraph) that he understood “the situation concerning privacy” and that he “supports the need for Prince Harry to support those closest to him.”
In early December 2016, blurred photos of the couple were circulating wherein the prince took the actress for a date at the Gielgud Theatre. The actress flew to the UK from Toronto, Canada at that time.
Meanwhile, Markle, a racism advocate, posted a meaningful quote on her Instagram, which states, “In a society that profits from your self doubt, liking yourself is a rebellious act.”
In her Elle UK article, the actress confirmed that she’s biracial. She emphasized the equality of race and to be proud of one’s own ethnicity. “My dad is Caucasian and my mom is African American. I’m half black and half white,” the actress stated.
