'Mass Effect: Andromeda' release date, news: Comic book publisher reveals game's launch date?

BioWare and Electronic Arts’ forthcoming science fiction shooter video game “Mass Effect: Andromeda” is one of the highly anticipated games and recent reports say that there could finally be a definite release date for the space-themed role-playing title.

It can be recalled that the initial December rollout of the game had been rescheduled and it is now expected in the first quarter of next year. While the upcoming title was one of the games that were featured in September’s PlayStation Meeting, Sony’s special event that launched the PlayStation 4 Pro, no release date was mentioned.

Now, renowned comic book publisher Dark Horse may have hinted the game’s release as “The Art of Mass Effect: Andromeda,” an art book that goes hand in hand with the game franchise’s next installment, was spotted by some eagle-eyed fans on Amazon. The particular listing came with a definitive date of release, March 21, 2017.

Furthermore, the book’s description clearly states that it will be dished out alongside the game on the date mentioned. However, the game maker has remained tight-lipped with regard to the said posting. Nevertheless, many “Mass Effect” fans are now holding onto that particular date.

Meanwhile, it was reported early on that “Mass Effect: Andromeda” will be sporting two protagonists, not to mention that the two are said to be siblings. Moreover, director Mac Walters mentioned that both main characters of the game will be playable, but the other kin will be set somewhere in the same universe.

Though lacking official confirmation, players are now made to believe that “Mass Effect: Andromeda” will finally see the light of day in March of next year. It made will be made available for Xbox One, Xbox One S, PlayStation 4, PlayStation 4 Pro, and PC platforms.
