'Mass Effect: Andromeda' dev team teases game's progress, fresh and unique protagonist

Bioware’s development team for the highly anticipated video game “Mass Effect: Andromeda” is teasing what players can expect from the upcoming iteration.

According to Design N’ Trend, the people behind the game seem to be slowly releasing some details on the progress ahead of this year’s Electronic Entertainment Expo trade show. The studio is expected to take part in the Electronic Arts Play showcase scheduled from June 12 to 14. The game is said to be highlighted during a press conference on the first day.

Producers Michael Gamble and Fabrice Condominas took it to their respective Twitter accounts to presumably hype fans.

“Lots of new followers over the last few days. cool. tell your friends. gonna be wild up n’ here soon enough,” Gamble stated and followed it up with, “I was just reminded how much I love working with programmers. As a group, they put the ‘control’ in controlled chaos.” Condominas offered more hints saying, “That was a good week for our bad guys. You need good enemies to enjoy victory.”

Game lead designer Ian Frazier also chimed in with, “It’s really awesome to see all the effort the team is putting into making our new protagonist feel fresh and unique. 🙂 #space

The game is predicted to launch sometime in 2017 across all platforms such as Playstation 4, Xbox One, and PC.

In a related note, California’s Great America theme park revealed that their upcoming attraction called “Mass Effect New Earth: A 4D Holographic Journey” created in partnership with EA will open to the public on May 18.

The said themed ride will have participants strapped into rumble chairs while wearing 3D glasses. A live performer will guide them in experiencing navigating through space aboard Commander Shepard’s SSV Normandy ship. Riders will get to visit distant planets and face off some antagonists to save the day.

Visitors may avail of three different passes to access the park such as Regular Season, Gold Season, and Platinum.
